Reflection on theory (reference all) Second-wave Feminism the theory of male gaze from Laura Mulvey because I think I will be better able to show to the audience the idea I have projected in my head. The male gaze theory publishes visual pleasure and narrative cinema; In other words, women that we see in / films are attracted to male desires, seen as portrait myth- metaphorical games, women that are a certain type, dominate the media and the world. I chose this theory because it is a matter that happens a lot and can be seen in real-life situations, Tv broadcasts and even in cartoons and etc. Authorship is the theory that provides credit for an individual's contributions to a study and carries accountability. I have worked on the director Steven Spielberg where I have analyzed a few of his films and came to the conclusion that most f them are animal and sci-fi related. with the themes of adventure and action. Montage is the practice of editing, it is the most contemporary artistic procedure as a practically obligatory reference and widely absorbed by a multitude of artists from the most diverse expressive fields. Montage is the art of expressing or giving meaning through the relationship of two juxtaposed plans, the juxtaposition gives rise to the idea or expresses something that does not exist on either plan separately. I researched different types of montages, such as; Soviet Montage, Intellectual Montage, Ideological Montage, and Associative Montage. I have made a montage video where I have added a soundtrack and different types of videos, whether from music videos, memes, and other types of videos. Surrealism aimed to push the boundaries of imagination that had been created by Bourgeois thought and its logical tradition and artistic ideas that had been in place since the renaissance. I worked with my group in a project where it was based on a silent film that consisted of random incidents kept happening. it is a 48 seconds short film which my group's intention was to get a reaction from the audience of, what is going on? A narrative structure is a structure that helps you think about how a story is told and its structure. it consists of the equilibrium, the hero's journey, and binary oppositions. I analyzed the film curfew, in order to understand more what it is about and what the meaning behind the story is. Brecht is the term used to designate the concept of the epic theatre theory. it describes a technique that allows us to portray human and social events, so as to be considered unusual, needing explanation, and not considered natural. it breaks the 4th wall. I worked in a group where the theme of our film is drama and it is a fight scene, where the actors continuously come out of their character in order to harm the other person. the message we were trying to come across is to show that domestic abuse happens from women towards men and vice versa but when it comes to men it is taken more as a joke than taken seriously as it is for women.
