Web 2.0 Services

Youtube.
I do agree that services like youtube, facebook and snapchat can be quite addictive, but that is also part of our everyday life generation. I say this because living in a world that we live today, many of us use those services in order to be updated with news and other types of informations such as celebrities newest updates also for entertainment and specially for distraction of our surroundings.

For example YouTube.
YouTube is a free service used for uploading videos and watch music videos, films and together with other kind of videos.
All of us media students, use youtube in a daily basis when at college, in order to get our assignments done, we usually need to search for videos on youtube to support our work. If not, many of us use it on the background to listen to music while working, it is a way of keeping us working but at the same time not bored. I don't think Youtube is an addictive service at all, it is just something that has a good impact in our lives, allowing us to be entertained when bored.

Youtube users usually interact through the comments section, some of them for good purposes, others for bad. Me as a youtube user, i say that the comment section is somewhere that i always visit when watching a video, i believe most of us all do use to go through where the audience interacts, sometimes just fir fun and other times to get information such as reviews and feedback.

The difference between a prosumer and a consumer is that prosumer is a person postindustrial society who combines the economic roles of a producer and consumer or prosumer can be a serious, enthusiastic consumer. while consumer is that one who consumes.

Prosumer is the word used for those of consume and produce from it. I'd say I'm a prosumer most times because for example when I am asked to work on a film Review, I search through the comments section on Youtube, I search through google in order to find some useful information that i might have missed and put it together in my own words with what i already had to create a good piece.  I'd say being a prosumer, is good for the the own prosumer, which is the one who is benefiting from it.

prosumers make money off of other products, as we talking about youtube, a youtuber, that makes videos based on reacting to music videos, he is using what he consumes himself to produce something that people can watch.

people on youtube provide media because there's something they want to share
